We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager Civil & Interior to lead client acquisition and project sourcing efforts for high-end civil construction and luxury interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong industry connections, technical sales expertise, and the ability to close high-value deals across commercial, hospitality, residential, and institutional segments.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and engage with potential clients, consultants, architects, project management companies, and real estate developers.
- Generate qualified leads and build a solid pipeline for civil and interior contracting opportunities.
- Conduct presentations, site visits, and technical discussions to position the company as a preferred partner.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Understand project briefs and propose suitable civil and interior solutions in coordination with the technical team.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including proposal preparation, pricing coordination, and negotiations.
- Ensure targets related to revenue, conversion, and client acquisition are achieved.
Relationship Management:
- Nurture long-term client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met throughout the engagement.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums to enhance company visibility.
Market Insights & Collaboration:
- Track upcoming civil and interior projects through market intelligence, pre-tender notifications, and private development leads.
- Provide strategic feedback to estimating, design, and project teams based on client requirements and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams for timely submission of technical/commercial proposals and tender documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-15 years of experience in B2B/project sales within civil construction, interior contracting, or turnkey fit-out sectors.
- Proven track record of winning medium to large-scale interior or civil projects (commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, etc.).
- Strong understanding of project execution, BOQs, tendering, and client decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with premium interior designers, PMC firms, or real estate developers.
- Familiarity with turnkey contracting models and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial and technical acumen.
