Job Summary: The English Retention Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve student retention rates in English language programs. This role requires a strong focus on student engagement, data analysis, and collaboration with faculty and staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retention Strategy Development:
- Design and execute strategies aimed at improving student retention in English language programs.
- Analyze retention data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Student Engagement:
- Develop initiatives that foster student involvement and commitment to their English studies.
- Organize workshops, extracurricular activities, and events to promote a sense of community among students.
- Support Services:
- Collaborate with academic advisors and counselors to provide support to at-risk students.
- Create accessible resources, including tutoring and language labs, to assist students in their learning.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with faculty to ensure alignment of teaching methods and curricula with retention goals.
- Communicate regularly with students to gather feedback and build strong relationships.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and assess the effectiveness of retention initiatives, preparing regular reports for stakeholders.
- Use data analytics tools to monitor student progress and identify patterns impacting retention.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on best practices in student retention and English language teaching.
- Train and support faculty in retention strategies and student engagement techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience in retention managementinf the FX Industy A MUST
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
