About the position
We're looking to hire a hardworking, IT Support Specialist with a passion for supporting customers online. Your work will make a difference to our business, and you will play an integral role in how our product and company evolve. For this position we are looking for someone who can handle at least 2 and preferably 3 languages, among the following: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian. English is mandatory.
The Essentials:
- Demonstrated ability to work with Mac OS
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows
- Sound experience in tech support
- Experience with operating systems
- Proficient with desktop support
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems
- Solid understanding of computer hardware
- Familiarity with workstations
- Excellent knowledge of phone support
- Understanding of Microsoft servers
- Demonstrated proficiency in Windows server
- Solid grasp of computer systems
- Understanding principles of troubleshoot problems
Main responsibilities
- Assist with a wide range of requests for hardware and software support, to new user setup and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network problems specifically related to Backup software in Mac and Windows
- Log all the support activity in the Salesforce system.
- Communication will be through e-mail and phone (provided by the company).
