Role Purpose

The Charter Manager will be responsible for driving charter flight sales, building strong client and supplier relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The role requires a commercially driven aviation professional with proven aircraft charter experience, excellent negotiation skills, and an established network of industry contacts both locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across private, group, cargo, and corporate charter markets.
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads, secure repeat business, and expand market presence.
  • Develop tailored proposals and quotations, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP clients, brokers, corporates, and government entities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice on aircraft types, operational capabilities, and route planning.

Supplier & Operator Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with aircraft operators and service providers.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and terms with suppliers to maximize profitability and service quality.
  • Stay informed on fleet availability, market developments, and competitor activity.

Operational Oversight

  • Coordinate with operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless charter execution.
  • Work with ground handlers, FBOs, catering providers, and crew to meet client requirements.
  • Monitor charter performance to ensure safety, efficiency, and service quality standards are met.

Reporting & Strategy

  • Maintain accurate records of charter activity, client interactions, and financial performance.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence updates.
  • Support the development of long-term charter strategy, including new market entry and service offerings.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in aircraft charter sales or related aviation sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of industry contacts with operators, brokers, and clients.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep knowledge of aircraft types, charter operations, and global aviation markets.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English; other languages an advantage.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally as required.
