Concrete Project Manager

Our client, an Indianapolis construction company, is seeking a Concrete Project Manager with extensive experience in multifamily concrete projects, including flatwork and vertical structures, and managing projects in excess of $10M. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all structural concrete work, including vertical structural concrete such as parking garages and elevated decks.

Concrete Project Manager Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of concrete project management experience.
• Proficient in reading and understanding construction documents (architectural, structural, mechanical, specifications, etc.).
• Experience with structural concrete ground-up projects from cradle to grave.
• Broad understanding of all aspects of construction, including on-site inspection, verification of conformance with contract documents, scheduling, project budget/costs, progress reporting, and project closeout.
• Strong leadership ability to manage projects with the superintendent and team.

Concrete Project Manager Duties

• Plan all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.

• Obtain all necessary regulations and permits.
• Ensure projects are aligned with the agreed-upon scope of work and contract.
• Communicate with clients and deliver project progress reports.
• Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other specialists.
• Ensure that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
• Use scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
• Engage with the superintendent and project team to ensure the project is meeting milestone deadlines for budget and schedule.
