Construction Industrial Superintendent

An Indiana based industrial self-performing contractor is seeking a Construction Industrial Superintendent to travel to their various projects, mainly in and around Indianapolis and into northern Indiana. This company focuses on water, wastewater, civil, piping, concrete and industrial construction.

Construction Industrial Superintendent Duties:

• Work with foremen on the construction sites to establish priorities, ensuring the project comes in on time and within budget.
• Prepare schedules and assign work to construction personnel.
• Maintain a constant presence on the job, ensuring safety, job progress and ensure all company standards are met.
• Focus on safety and ensure that all workers adhere to OSHA and company standards of safety zero incident culture.
• Ability to train and mentor others.
• Formulate the construction master plan schedule for each project in which responsible.
• Lead LEAN Construction at the jobsite.

Construction Industrial Superintendent Requirements:-

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, piping, concrete and industrial construction
• Able to train and mentor others.
• Able to formulate the construction master plan schedules.
• Proven experience in LEAN Construction at the jobsite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
