Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Production Leads. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
• Train and mentor production team members on processes and safety protocols.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the production area.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality, supply chain) to optimize production flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
