Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kalamazoo that are seeking Recruiters. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for various manufacturing roles, from production to engineering.
• Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including offer extension and pre-employment processes.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and recruitment metrics.
• Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to attract top talent.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience recruiting for various roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to attract and engage passive candidates for specialized technical and operational roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to articulate them to candidates.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
• Demonstrated success in reducing time-to-fill and improving candidate quality.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS/ATS implementation or optimization.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their impact on workforce planning.
• Background in employer branding specific to skilled trades or technical roles.
• Certifications in relevant areas like CIR, CSSR, or SHRM-CP/SCP with a focus on talent acquisition.
