Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in St. Johns that are seeking skilled Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom and standard products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope.
• Utilize ERP/CRM systems to generate proposals and track quoting activity.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote details and lead times.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options within quoting process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, pricing structures, and market trends.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate cost calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams.
• Ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) for tracking quotes and customer interactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their role in manufacturing processes.
• Basic understanding of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Certification in APICS CPIM or CSCP.
