Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom and standard products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications and drawings to determine manufacturing processes and costs.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and quoting tools.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote status and technical details.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and profit margins.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately calculate costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with sales, engineering, and production teams.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems and CRM software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Background in a manufacturing environment, particularly custom or engineered-to-order products.
• Strong mathematical aptitude with an understanding of cost accounting principles.
