Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for standard and custom products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
• Utilize ERP systems and quoting software to generate pricing and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of quotes, pricing, and customer information.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement in the quoting process.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, pricing, and product availability.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency in calculating costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with sales, engineering, and customers.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking quotes and customer interactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for accessing product information and pricing data.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
