Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to meet shipping schedules.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse management software.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Valid forklift operator certification and experience with various material handling equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Forklift operator certification and experience with various material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
