Salary Range: $50,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate logistics with carriers and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Proven ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; valid certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Certification in forklift operation and maintenance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations (e.g., Incoterms, customs documentation).
• Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
