Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Battle Creek that are seeking skilled Quality Engineers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into product design and manufacturing processes.
• Validate and qualify new equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality standards are met.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP)
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation using tools like Minitab or JMP
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys)

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
