Project Manager | Traverse City, MI

Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Traverse City that are seeking Project Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of manufacturing projects from concept to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain personnel.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and external contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex manufacturing projects on time and within budget.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
