Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate and troubleshoot robotic systems on the production floor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robots and their end-effectors.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
• Program and re-program robot paths and sequences for various manufacturing tasks.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and improve manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in programming and operating robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with a variety of robot programming languages beyond the core teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++ for specific applications).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for integrated system control.
• Certification in a specific robotic platform (e.g., FANUC CERT, UR Academy).
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their safety implementation.
