Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data.
• Identify and tag non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks according to control plans and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred
• 2+ years experience in quality control or inspection within manufacturing
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances
