Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets product, manufacturing, and customer requirements.
• Selects and qualifies packaging materials and suppliers, considering cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Conducts packaging performance testing, including drop, vibration, and environmental simulations.
• Optimizes packaging processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Develops and maintains packaging specifications, bills of material, and technical documentation.
• Investigates and resolves packaging-related issues and implements corrective actions.
• Stays current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in packaging technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and practices
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
• Project management experience, from concept to launch
• ISTA certification or experience with package testing
