Salary Range: $101,000 - $148,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Montague that are seeking skilled Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely material availability.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards across manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to introduce new products and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with automation technologies in manufacturing
