Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback to design engineers.
• Manage pilot production builds and oversee the transition to mass production.
• Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks for new products.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design review and analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and quality control.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during product introduction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
