Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing introduction of new products from concept to mass production.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new designs.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product lines.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback to design teams to improve product design for manufacturing.
• Manage and execute pilot builds, ensuring smooth transition to production and resolving any manufacturing issues.
• Establish and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and product launches.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and quality control.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g., Windchill, Agile) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA) for automation.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
