Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Process Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to improve throughput and quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, work instructions, and control plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, production, maintenance) to ensure smooth process integration.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and materials to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process performance and report on progress.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Proficient in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools (e.g., MiniTab, JMP, Python, R).
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, and other engineering documentation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with MES/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Familiarity with automation technologies (e.g., robotics, PLCs)
- Project management experience in a manufacturing setting
