Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Fremont that are seeking Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures for various press machines, including tooling and material adjustments.
• Conduct routine quality checks on finished products, identifying and resolving any defects or non-conformities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with press equipment.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from machines, ensuring proper material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience as a Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machine setup and minor repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Proficient in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
