Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing press machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures on presses, including tooling adjustments and material loading.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and production issues.
• Complete all required production paperwork, including work orders and quality logs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for machine setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with various press types (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, punch) and material handling.
• Ability to perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification or experience
• Proficiency in using a micrometer and caliper
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
