Salary Range: $64,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Manistee that are seeking skilled PLC Programmers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and program PLC logic for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs, HMI, and robotic systems to resolve production issues.
• Implement and optimize control systems to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on PLC-controlled machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to existing PLC programs and hardware.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi).
• Proficient in industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, HMI development, and SCADA applications.
• Experience with robotic integration and vision systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
