Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, including repairs, installations, and maintenance performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards during all field service operations.
• Manage and maintain service vehicle inventory of parts and tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery (e.g., PLCs, robotics, hydraulics).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Certifications in specialized equipment or technologies (e.g., robotics, vision systems).
• Familiarity with CMMS/EAM software for work order management and asset tracking.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the service region or customer base.
• Ability to perform basic welding or fabrication for on-site repairs.
