Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in St. Johns that are seeking skilled Facilities Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facility-related projects, including expansions, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations for the facility.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors for services and supplies.
• Optimize space utilization and layout to improve manufacturing efficiency and workflow.
• Manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and building automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and project timelines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) implementation or optimization.
• LEED Green Associate or similar sustainability certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for space planning and facility design.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles as they apply to facility operations.
