Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Fabrication Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train fabrication team members on production processes and safety protocols.
- Oversee daily fabrication operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment, coordinating procurement as needed.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the fabrication department.
- Conduct quality control inspections on fabricated parts and assemblies to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize fabrication processes and product designs.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK) and metal forming processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of skilled fabricators.
- Experience with quality control procedures and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with fabrication equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
