Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Holt that are seeking Fabrication Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of fabricators, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the fabrication of components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Plan and schedule daily production activities, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality inspections of fabricated parts to ensure adherence to specifications and resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment, ensuring proper operation and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes and resolve technical issues.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the fabrication area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• CAD/CAM software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Experience training and mentoring junior fabricators.
