Facilities Manager | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facilities-related vendor relationships and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Plan and execute facility expansion, renovation, and relocation projects.
• Manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.
• Implement and manage building management systems for optimal efficiency.
• Lead and develop a team of facilities technicians and support staff.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols relevant to manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
• Certification such as FMP (Facilities Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager).
