Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components, including motors, transformers, and switchgear.
• Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical instruments and control systems to optimize machinery performance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely.

Recommended Qualifications

• Red Seal or equivalent Industrial Electrician certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and local electrical codes.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Formal training or certification in thermography, vibration analysis, or motor circuit analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and blueprints using CAD software.
• Experience with robotic systems and automation (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
