Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in manufacturing machinery and facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using schematics, multimeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, during electrical work.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to execute installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement new electrical systems and improve existing ones.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance and repair activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Industrial Electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent.
• Valid Red Seal Endorsement as an Industrial Electrician.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems (up to 600V).
• Demonstrated experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and VFDs.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic systems and their associated electrical controls.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI interfaces.
• Familiarity with vision systems and their integration into manufacturing processes.
• Certification in thermography or other predictive maintenance technologies.
• Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
