Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery according to schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble equipment during maintenance or repair.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications to machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of an accredited vocational program in mechanical repair or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Ability to perform complex diagnostics and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery or robotics.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Certification in a specialized area (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, welding).
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics or blueprints.
