Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking Finishing Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the finishing area.
• Train and mentor new employees on finishing techniques, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs to minimize downtime.
• Optimize workflow and continuously seek improvements in efficiency and productivity.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finishing department, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in various finishing processes (e.g., sanding, polishing, painting, coating, assembly).
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques relevant to finished goods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot finishing process issues.
