Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the finishing area.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development for the team.
• Optimize workflow and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in finishing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing processes (e.g., painting, polishing, assembly).
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a team of production operators.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience with automated finishing equipment and robotics.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior supervisors or team leads.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
