Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in East Lansing that are seeking skilled Financial Analysts. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking.
• Analyze production costs, inventory levels, and operational expenses to identify efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends and insights.
• Support capital expenditure planning and analysis, including ROI calculations for new equipment and projects.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial processes and data accuracy.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using tools like Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, variance analysis, and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
