Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and control plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Quality, Production) to ensure successful product launches.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a discrete manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing processes and tooling.
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and their application to manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with a specific CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Proficiency in a programming language for automation or data analysis (e.g., Python, R, C++).
