Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and optimizes manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoots production issues and implements corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Conducts process capability studies and implements statistical process control (SPC) methods.
• Evaluates and recommends new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and materials.
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Implements continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with creating and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to identify and resolve production issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture design and process improvement.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers or technicians.
• Experience with automation technologies and robotics in a manufacturing setting.
