Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling and performance reviews.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Forecast and manage the maintenance department budget, including spare parts inventory and external service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards within the maintenance department.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix) for work order management, preventive maintenance, and spare parts inventory.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA) and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians, including performance management and training.
• Experience implementing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
