Salary Range: $132,000 - $183,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Walker that are seeking skilled General Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets and business growth.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
• Lead and mentor a team of department managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with sales and R&D to align production with market demands and new product development.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and financial acumen
• Proven ability to implement and optimize Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Demonstrated success in fostering a strong safety culture
• Fluency in a second language relevant to the workforce or customer base
