Salary Range: $124,000 - $174,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking General Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets and business objectives.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Drive process optimization and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and driving financial performance
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly related to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated success in fostering a strong safety culture and achieving safety performance targets.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
