Salary Range: $72,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kentwood seeking Electrical Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in production machinery and facilities.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).
• Specify and procure electrical components, sensors, and instrumentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for creating and modifying electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automated systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Experience with vision systems for quality control or inspection.
