Salary Range: $48,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision parts.
• Set up and program EDM machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor EDM operations, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to quality standards using various measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code for EDM programming.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Minimum 1 year experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with EDM programming software (e.g., ESPRIT, CAMWorks)
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with other machining processes (e.g., milling, turning)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NIMS, NTMA)
