Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Kalamazoo that are seeking skilled Demand Planners. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain to optimize stock.
• Identify and address significant forecast variances and propose corrective actions.
• Utilize demand planning software and statistical modeling techniques.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to present demand forecasts and assumptions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
