Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Montague seeking experienced Environmental Health & Safety Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Deliver EHS training programs to employees, covering topics such as hazard communication and emergency response.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and maintain accurate records of waste generation and disposal.
• Maintain and update EHS documentation, including permits, licenses, and safety data sheets.
• Collaborate with production teams to integrate EHS best practices into manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.
• 3-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Experience conducting hazard assessments, risk analyses, and developing control measures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate EHS training programs
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in EHS software platforms
