Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced quality control plans for new product introductions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for complex quality issues.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base.
  • Mentor junior quality engineers and provide technical expertise in problem-solving methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defect rates.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and various quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA).
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
