Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action initiatives for complex quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other statistical tools for data analysis and process improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects and improving product reliability.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and work with suppliers to improve their quality performance.
• Mentor and train junior quality engineers on advanced quality techniques and methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and their practical application.
• Expertise in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and various problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead quality improvement projects and mentor less experienced engineers.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with AI-powered quality tools or predictive analytics
• Strong background in statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)
• Familiarity with advanced metrology techniques and equipment
