Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute CMM programs for part inspection and measurement.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to create inspection plans.
  • Perform first-article inspections, in-process checks, and final product verifications using CMMs.
  • Troubleshoot CMM programs and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize inspection processes and resolve non-conformances.
  • Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Document inspection results, generate reports, and analyze data to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PC-DMIS software for CMM programming.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application.
  • Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and controllers.
  • Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing CMM programs for complex parts.
