Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Byron Center seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment.
• Document calibration results and maintain accurate records in accordance with quality standards.
• Develop and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure equipment accuracy and minimize downtime.
• Analyze calibration data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and external regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or a related technical role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and metrology concepts.
• Experience with various types of test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, flow meters).
