Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
  • Document calibration results, including out-of-tolerance conditions and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records and equipment history in the calibration management system.
  • Adhere to established calibration procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of calibration procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment availability and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology).
  • 2+ years of experience performing calibration of various measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles, including measurement uncertainty, traceability, and instrument adjustment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, schelmatics, and calibration procedures.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025) and relevant industry standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with metrology software (e.g., GagePack, IndySoft) for data management and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex test and measurement equipment.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and quality management systems.
  • IPC certification (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-A-610) for soldering and electronic assembly.
  • Prior experience training junior technicians or developing calibration procedures.
